If you need to buy shorts and socks you can also get them from me.
Everyone must play in the club colours.
Secondly there is a First Aid course
at Douglas Eyre on Monday 1 December starting 7.00pm. Let me know if you want to
go, it could save a life of someone you know.
The 1st team secured another fine win
and another SAL scalp in the shape of Salesians in the Old Boys Cup. The
dominated the match and scored at regular intervals to take the tie comfortably
against a first division team. They now meet Minchendenians away on 3 Jan in the
semi final. Its now five wins from five and yet another cup match next week and
the week after, hopefully thay wont be too far behind in the league. The "nd
team bounced back with their 1st win in 5 games thumping 10 man Southgate 5-0
and regaining some pride and confidence. They were struggling for players like
Southgate but with 11 on the pitch we easily outplayed them and made the extra
man tell. The 3rds had 2 late cryoffs which left them with bare bones of a team
and succumbed to a strong Albanian side With also 3 players missing it didnt
help the cause and they now have a mountain to climb in the league. The 4ths
continued their good form with yet another win at Bealonians this time. They
were also doing well in the division in 3rd place so this win opens up a 5 point
gap at the top. The 5ths were missing several players but managed to sneak a win
in the LOB cup against Mayfield. 1-0 should have been 6 or 7 but in the they got
through with another clean sheet. The 6ths were missing some regulars and so it
proved crucial as they were knocked out of the LOB cup against Ignatians. It was
their first defeat in 8 games and the first time they failed to score this
season. The 7ths were on the end of another mauling as they came up a a strong
Actonians side and we never matched their team play to be in the game, not good
preparation for the AFA cup match this week. The A Vets continued with another
win in the league against Maidonians which takes them to 5th in the table. Not
so long ago they were bottom so its been a good run of form which we hope will
continue. The B Vets got a good win at Fulbrook which could have been more had
they not taken their foot off the gas. A hattrick from Captain Jon Walsh means
they now sit second in the table behind Ryan Vets. Again they sat near the
bottom only weeks ago.
