  • Pre season Training begins on Tuesday 20 July from 7.00pm till around 8.30pm at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre. It continues every Tuesday until the end of August.
  • In September we revert to Thursday nights starting 8.30 until 10.00pm.
  • Tuesday 3 August created a club record as around 110 players turned up for training, nearly 40 more than the previous record. We must be doing something right!!
  • Friendlies will begin for the 1st and 2nd teams in early August with the other teams a couple of weeks later. If you want to play make sure you let your manager know of your availability.
  • League Games start on 11 September for Vets and 1st & 2nd team. The rest start on 18 September.
  • For all new and existing members you need to have paid the £20 registration fee and completed the registration form before training or playing for the club. This is a requirement for our Public Liability Insurance. There are forms available to print on this website under club information.
  • The Amateur Football Combination League are now recognised as an FA Respect League. This means that all clubs sign up to the campaign initiated by the FA to promote good sportsmanship and eliminate bad behaviour and cheating. All members will sign up to this campaign and adopt the principles to improve the football we play in. Details on: http://www.thefa.com/Leagues/Respect/CodesofConduct/CodeofConductAdultPlayers.aspx
  • The club is currently running a campaign in conjunction with Clubnet which rewards online shoppers with cashback on purchases. The money is yours and you can split it with the club if you wish, details are on this page: ClubNet CashBack Click on it and follow the instructions to register
  • Any new players wishing to join the club and start training should contact me first using the details below so that I can meet you on the night. We have 3 qualified coaches to organise the sessions and we train on a sand based astroturf.
  • In addition our keepers also have their own training session on grass managed by John Day, a qualified goalkeeping coach at the same time as the other session.

New players of a good standard are still required

Old Parmiterians FC is a Charter Standard club that has been in existence for over 112 years. It offers football not only up to semi pro standard but also accommodates players of all abilities and for the veteran players of 35 years old and above. We currently run 2 Vets league sides for over 35s and one for the over 45s (senior Vets). The essence of the club is to provide football for players who want to enjoy their game and play with skill and creativity. The higher standard players can play their football in an enjoyable way without the treadmill of the semi pro leagues. You need to be reliable, sociable and disciplined.

. The Training sessions  commence every Tuesday from 20 July 7.00 to 8.30pm till September then Thursdays from 9 September at 8.30pm at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre Coppermill Lane Walthamstow, our home ground.
