Welcome to the home of Old Parmiterians Football Club a Charter Standard Club. The club was founded over 108 years ago and is a member of the Amateur Football Combination League (AFC) and affiliated to The Amateur Football Alliance and the Essex FA. Select About Us to read more about the club.

The club is based in Walthamstow and runs 8 senior league sides and three Veterans teams. We also have a youth section based in the Chingford area called Young Parmiterians with teams covering ages 10 to 18. Hit this link on the left to find out more.

The Club is always looking for new players of a good standard in ability, sportsmanship and behaviour. We are also looking to forge new links with other youth clubs, schools, and Sunday teams to provide Saturday football for players over the age of 16 up to Vets football for the over 35s. If you want to play for the club, the email link for contacting the Secretary is below. We provide football for all abilities from semi pro standard in the 1st team to the over 35s who play competitive Vets league football and friendlies.

The Club has been awarded Charter Standard Status by the FA. This is a statement from the Football Association to say that the club is well organised and is set up to accommodate young players wishing to play in Senior football. We have set new polices as a result. We are also getting many of our managers and players qualified through coaching and first aid courses.

OPFC is a member of the Amateur Football Combination League, which provides football from semi pro standard to those who want to play for fun and so covers all abilities. This is the largest league in Europe with over 100 clubs and 360 teams. This league is regionalised up to 1st team level which will cut down the amount of travelling for most teams and make it easier for the younger players to play their football without having to travel long distances for away games. The AFC has just initiated a campaign called the Spirit of Football which is aimed to promote good sportsmanship and fair play and a respect for opponents and referees. The campaign will also focus on reducing violence, abuse and cheating which is unfortunately too prevalent today. The club supports this campaign 100% and expects its members to do the same.

There is a sister Old Boys Club of the same name based at Parmiters School in Garston which plays in the Herts County League. This club is made up from leavers from the school. You can find out further information about the club by attaching to their website at Old Parmiterians FC (Garston)

Our home ground: Douglas Eyre Sports Centre, Coppermill Lane Walthamstow E17 (nearest Tube is Blackhorse Road or St James Street NR).

We train, socialise and play all our home games here.

Hit the Fixtures link to find out about this week's games and teams.
